Here's links to some of the Linux software I've packaged for my own use when I either
couldn't find a provided package, or the ones I found didn't work. (Or they were
VERY outdated.)
All links to outside sites will open in a new window.
MIMEDefang
My RPMs |
A sendmail milter written mostly in Perl. *VERY* flexible. The
authors also offer a commercially
supported edition with more features and UI polish called
CanIt. |
SpamAssassin
My RPMs |
SpamAssassin is a mail filter that tags (most) of the junk mail. Accuracy
typically starts out around 80% or better, and with close attention and training the
Bayesian subsystem, can quickly reach 99.9%+. |
Vipul's Razor (v2)
My RPMs |
Vipul's Razor is a distributed spam checksum database; with trust controls on submissions
to even out a spammer's potential abuse of the system.
I primarily call it from SpamAssassin, although it'll probably tag about 50% of your spam
all by itself. |
Miscellaneous Perl modules (required for MIMEDefang, SpamAssassin, and Vipul's Razor)
My RPMs |
This is a collection of most of the Perl modules required or recommended by MIMEDefang,
SpamAssassin, and Vipul's Razor. Not all are required for any one program, but all of the
modules here are required by at least one of the three programs above. |
